LWYA Recreational Spring Softball is an eight (8) week season that includes up to twelve (12) scheduled regular season games for ages 5 and up.
Blastball is a basic fundamentals game for ages three (3) and four (4) and holds a six (6) scheduled game season. Each player will be added to a team regardless of skill level and/or past participation as outlined in the "LWYA Baseball Standing Rules - The Draft".
Players are assigned to divisions based on the player's age as of August 31, 2024 (including Blastball) in accordance to "PONY Baseball/Softball Rules and Regulations".
Registration fees cover the cost of the player's jerseys, hat, and an end-of-season participation trophy. It will also cover operating costs (i.e. umpires, field rental and preparation, utilities, etc). Players will be responsible to purchase other uniform items, such as pants, socks, belts, cleats, playing glove and batting helmet.
Regular Season starts in March and ends in August. Games will be scheduled during the weekdays and Saturdays. All members are requested to serve one weekend at the Home concession stand. Sign ups will go out once game schedules are finalized.
***We are always in need of volunteer coaches. If you're interested, fill out the volunteer registration. Commissioner will select the coaches each season.
